The Lancefield Cemetery Trust invite visitors to the cemetery on Sunday May 11 join us for morning tea between 9.30am and 11.30am.

If you have any questions or general enquiries relating to the cemetery there will be trust members in attendance to assist on the day. We look forward to seeing you. Also, we are very excited to provide an update on the progress of the Memorial Chapel at the Lancefield Cemetery.

On Tuesday April 15 the site cut was commenced for the pending the arrival of the building from Horfield. Our life member John McCarthy has served on the Lancefield Cemetery Trust for 43 years and had the honour of turning the first sod. Once the old church is on site we will begin restoration of the building and look forward to planning the landscaping and outdoor seating areas soon.

We are still accepting donations and selling pavers which will be featured in these areas. The trust members would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has generously donated thus far towards the project, without this it would not be possible.
