Mountain Writers' Festival returns to Wurundjeri Country (Macedon) from Friday 13 - Sunday 15 November!

The 2026 program will be centred on the Festival’s enduring theme: ‘Nature. Place. Story’, featuring readings, conversations, workshops and special events for readers and writers of all ages and stages.

The festival brings together local voices and national perspectives to explore creativity, climate, place and belonging, celebrating the power of storytelling to deepen our connection to each other and the world around us.
