ChrisTMAS in Romsey 2025
🎄LET'S GET EXCITED! Christmas in Romsey 2025 is almost HERE!!🎄🎄
This wonderful community festival has been made possible by Bendigo Bank (Community Bank Lancefield & Romsey), Macedon Ranges Shire Council, Greater Western Water and Romsey SUPA IGA.
The Romsey Community Carols will be held again at the north oval, Romsey Primary School on Saturday 13th December.
This weekend we’re setting the scene to gather, connect and ensure the spirit of Christmas is alive and well in our region! Romsey Community Carols will be at the North Oval at Romsey Primary School on Saturday.
The Twilight Christmas Market will operate from 4pm - 7pm.
Don't forget to arrive well before 7pm to secure your spot on the grass. Food vans & sausage sizzle available from 6pm, pre-carols entertainment with Strat and Dusty from 6.30pm and the Carols will commence at 7pm.

Greater Western Water will be providing water so BYO water bottle to refill as many times as you need. Bring your picnics, rugs and chairs, and plenty of festive spirit! 🎅✨

Competition Details, Terms and Conditions
CATEGORIES:
1. Home: Residential premises (1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes to be awarded)
2. Business: Businesses (1st prize only to be awarded)
3. Fence/Gate/Hedge (1st prize only to be awarded) for residential homes on large blocks or with high hedges where displays cannot be viewed from the street.
All entries will be listed on the Romsey Community Christmas Lights Trail Map.
This is a wonderful opportunity for our community members and visitors to drive or walk around our town to view the fabulous Lights & Decorations displays
ENTRY FORMS TO BE SUBMITTED BY: 5pm, Friday 5th November 2025 via the online entry form below (see below)
Note: winners from previous years in the “Home” category are not eligible to win again.
Important Dates: -
Lights and Decorations to be installed by: 5.00pm Friday 5th December 2025
Panel Judging will occur between Friday 5th & Thursday 11th December 2025 - so keep your lights on!
Winners will be announced at the Romsey Community Carols @ Romsey Primary School (north oval) on Sat 13th December 2025 and on online via Facebook - Eastern Macedon Ranges - Business and Living (www.easternmacedonranges.au)
Please ensure your displays are lit up on Community Carols night (Sat 13th December)
Winners are to be featured in the Romsey Rag, Facebook, local print media & www.easternmacedonranges.au
