20. William J. Smith House

With its high hipped roof, weatherboards and verandah, this building is thought to be butcher William Smith’s house and the second or third to be built in the town. The allotment of land was sold to Smith in 1856.

It was also used as a bootmaker’s shop in the early 20th century.
